The economy is free falling…
That’s what’s in the news anyway.
I don’t get it sometimes. Everyone seems to be going to extremes but I guess they feel it’s necessary. I’m not saying I oppose gun ownership but maybe the focus should be on other areas.
So for all you business owners out there… what does this mean for your marketing?
Well, it means know your target market.You’ve got to know what they’re going through, the pains they’re dealing with, and the right solutions to present to them.
Marketing in the good ole days was easy. You could throw a bunch of junk on the wall and hope it stuck. Guess what, not anymore. You have to actually think about your customer.
What can you do to make a difference? How about doing something for them like a customer appreciation event. Granted this isn’t actively getting new customers…. Or is it. If you show your current customers that you value their patronage they just might send some new people your way.
Do little things for your customer. They make the difference.
Here’s a short list you can do…
You’d be surprised how nice it is just to get recognized from time to time by the people you purchase from. It shows you care.
These are just a few ideas and I’m sure you can come up with a ton of ideas for your industry. Take out a sheet of paper and start brainstorming. I’m sure you can come up with at least one or two good tactics to keep your customers involved and feeling good.
Appreciate them more and maybe we won’t have to worry about anyone wielding guns at your store or office.
